路透社的報導僅說明 Erik Prince 對 Vaxxinity 有所協助，但並沒有載明 Erik 是否有直接投資以及是否擁有股份。直接說這是間「美國公司」並不公允。

🏢 聯亞生技的新聞稿之中，有載明「COVAXX公司」是聯亞在 2020 年初，以特殊專案募資（special project financing）方式，將 COVID-19 相關智慧財產專屬授權予新分割成立的新公司，並且在 2021/4/1 起與 United Neuroscience（聯腦科學）公司合併為「Vaxxinity 公司」，繼續開發廣泛以類似的設計型與製造技術平台為基礎之疫苗產品線。

🇹🇼 事實上，台灣的新創在境外設立公司，來獲得更有彈性的股份分配方式來方便募資，是相當常見的事；科技部嚴選 2017 年 10 家科技新創公司，每一間都是「僑外資」，但仍然被視為是台灣企業、台灣人的公司。因此，在境外設立公司、吸引境外投資人，也不代表這就是間「外國公司」，實際上還是要以股份來看控制權。

The company has said the vaccine shows promise in protecting people against coronavirus, based on a small study of 60 patients in Taiwan. - Data on how well the vaccine works is still pending. In an email to Reuters, Vaxxinity’s Murphy said the company had completed the Phase 1 trial of 60 volunteers aged 20 to 55 in Taiwan, and is conducting a new study of 3,800 people there, including teens and elderly participants. The company plans larger trials in Brazil and India later this year.
